Our Studio Story and Focus on Honest Craft

Tinta San Miguel was founded out of a straightforward realization: getting a tattoo should not feel intimidating, hurried, or commercially opaque. Too many walk-in shops rely on rushed appointments, loud environments, and surprise hourly charges at the counter. We wanted to build a calm atelier in Zaragoza where the craft comes first, where clients can ask questions freely, and where cleanliness is handled with the exact precision of a clinical environment.

We choose our tools with meticulous care. Every needle is single-use surgical steel, sealed at the factory and opened only after our client is seated. Our pigments are sourced strictly from European producers complying with REACH safety standards, ensuring that carbon blacks and rich tones retain their integrity without undesirable color shifts over time. Before every appointment, our stations are wiped down with hospital-grade surface disinfectants and wrapped in fresh barrier films.

Transparency guides how we treat our clients. We do not use vague hourly counters that keep you guessing while sitting in the chair. We review your design, discuss the scale, and provide a fixed quote before the machine ever turns on. Whether you are getting your first minimal line piece or completing a larger illustrative project, you receive our quiet, focused attention from the initial sketch to the final healed skin.

A solid tattoo relies on skin knowledge, steady needle depth, and clean tools. We unpack sterile supplies only after the client sits down.

  • Upfront Transparency

We agree on final pricing and placement before the session begins. You never face hidden studio fees or unexpected hourly extensions.

  • Medical-Grade Safety

Single-use needles, certified barrier covers, and compliant pigments protect your skin at every stage. We dispose of all consumable items in certified medical waste containers.

  • Patient Collaboration

We take the necessary time to test stencils and discuss how your chosen anatomy moves with the art. If an idea needs sizing adjustments to heal cleanly, we explain why.
